FAQ

  • When will my order be delivered?
    We ship out orders on a daily basis so that it arrives in 1-5 business days (Sun-Thurs). Most orders arrive within 3 days. If you are ordering before your program begins, your order will be delivered before you arrive in Israel in coordination with your program. We recommend ordering at least 3 weeks before your program begins.
  • I don't see what I need, can you get it for me?
    Most certainly! We work with dozens of suppliers all around Israel and abroad to bring you a wide selection of products. We are always looking to expand and help people get what they need. Feel free to contact us with your request.
  • Are all food products Kosher?
    Yes, absolutely. All food products are certified Kosher. Feel free to contact us for more information.
  • What size bedding do I need?
    Standard Israeli dorm beds are 90 cm wide and require our standard bedding found in the "Bedding" section of the website. Some programs such as Reichman University/ IDC Herzliya may have larger 120 cm wide beds. If you require larger non-standard bedding we would be happy to special order it for you from our bedding supplier. Our advice is to check with your program to find out what size bedding is needed.
  • How is shipping calculated?
    Shipping is FREE across Israel for orders over 500 NIS! For orders under 500 NIS shipping is 35 NIS. For orders under 500 NIS that include a large item shipping is 70 NIS. Large items are noted in the description. Shipping times are 1-5 business days, usually less than 3.
  • Do you deliver inside the Old City of Jerusalem?
    For pre-orders before your program begins, yes! During the rest of the year, our package couriers are only able to get close to the Old City without going into the Rova. Whoever is receiving the package must meet the courier, likely at one of the old city gates and be available by phone (Israeli cell number). If you would like your order delivered to your program inside the Old City, this will incur a charge of roughly 250 NIS. Please contact us if you require this service.
  • Are the items you sell new?
    Yes absolutely. All Israel Xpress items are brand new and electrical appliances have a one-year warranty.
  • Can I get a bulk discount?
    Definitely! All our products can be purchased in bulk at a discounted rate. Please contact us for more information.
  • What is your return policy?
    Items can be returned if unopened or damaged within 14 days. Returns incur a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.
  • What is your payment policy?
    We accept all major credit cards! If you have an issue with payment please contact us.
  • What currency will my order be processed in?
    Your order will be processed in Israeli Shekels (ILS). Prices will be displayed in your local currency for your convenience. You can change the prices to be displayed in the currency of your preference at the bottom of each page.
  • Can I receive a VAT rebate?
    Every purchase in Israel includes VAT (Value Added Tax) of 17%. This tax is included in all our prices as is common practice in Israel.
